Why it’s taken me months to write a blog post on this cleanser is beyond me. I’m going on my third tube of the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser; I always go back time and time again. It’s easy, effective and great for all skin types. There are a handful of products I go back to when my skin is being fussy, and this is one of them.
5 oz. - $20.00
I use a quarter size amount and I personally splash water on my face before using the cleanser; I cannot stand the feeling of a cleanser going straight onto my dry face. It seriously makes me cringe ha! You don’t have to worry about residue, it washes away without hassle when you rinse. I simply pat dry with a facial cloth. I never need a second cleanse and that’s exactly how I like it.
The consistency of this cleanser isn’t like any other I’ve tried. It’s a pearly, creamy white texture – whipped formula. It feels great when applied on the skin and you can quickly see it break apart the makeup on your face. I wouldn’t say it’s any good at removing waterproof mascara. I always use a separate eye makeup remover for that. *sigh*
Never has this product left my skin feeling stripped or irritated in any way. I do believe it helps keep my acne to a minimum and reduces redness, to support its claim. We all know how red and aggravated our skin can get when we have a breakout. This product soothes and quickly dries up irritating spots.
I wouldn’t say it’s the best cleanser I’ve ever used but it’s by far not the worst. It works and does exactly what I need it to do. It removes all of my makeup (minus mascara), calms my skin, keeps it hydrated and helps my skin from breaking out. The First Aid Beauty Cleanser is simple and easy, its a no-brainer.
Have you used this cleanser before? How would you rate it?
